一、 以雕塑的方式思考空间

作为当代艺术家傅新民作品不同于前人的是—他以自己的艺术思考生命、叩问意义、

在材料运用与语言表现中，他把自己的追问，直接指向意义的深处。

当代水墨画的发展与形态，显然是以“回归人自身”和“回归艺术自身”为特点的，它更重个人经验和内心体验，
其形式、内容、语言多是关于个人或者由个人参与的结果；因此，作品的视角也体现为个人的眼光，
在创作中必然十分注重个人的“笔调”。
傅新民的水墨艺术，给我们的直接感受是—一位当代独行者的内心自白。他把水墨技法、内心独白、
精神想象在平面空间中协调起来，却不为结构形式所羁限，在笔墨、色彩、符号中浸造的是情感、心灵、意识的表达，
